Funds Transfer Advice 

You have several options of transferring funds to your account with us - personal cheques, traveler cheques, bank drafts, mail transfers, telegraphic transfers and SWIFT. We personally recommend SWIFT to avoid any delay in transfer of funds, the details of which are given below. For US Dollar remittances, it is imperative to mention that the funds are for Deutsche Bank, New Delhi Branch. 

For customers (account holders)

The Bank transferring funds should incorporate the following in its SWIFT message :

  1. Beneficiary Bank - Deutsche Bank AG, New Delhi
  2. Beneficiary customer - Name and account no. of the customer
  3. Purpose of remittance - Credit to savings a/c (local, NRE, NRO), NRE deposit, NRNR deposit, FCNR deposit etc.
 

For non-account holders

  1. Name and Passport number of the beneficiary
  2. Purpose of remittance (ex. to be paid against legitimate identification at New Delhi Branch)
